Hunakamo Sport Management
Our company started activities in 2006 in Hungary around the drift motorsport. Our goal is to promote the drift sport among interested parties, to organize events and competitions, to build and maintain foreign and national partnerships. The possibilities of competition series and programs offer the opportunity to present sponsors who want to promote their products and services through national and foreign competitors and their fans during the Championship and related events.
The current Hunakamo Sport Management introductory team, the driftbajnoksag.hu, was formed in 2006 when the first car for Drift was purchased, followed by two more in close succession. The original 8-man "Just Drift" team leader by Szabolcs Béres is still actually involved in the organisation and there are also those who have since chosen racing. In 2007 the team leader and the drivers supported by the team took part in one international and several national races and shows, three of which were their own events. During the competitions, the number of members and competitors increased continuously, so from 14 active competitors in the autumn of 2007 to 74 competitors annually, which has been growing ever since. The drivers were joined by mechanics, helpers and supporters. The many experiences what the Drift gave, and the growing number of fans led in 2009 the drifting.hu to the establishment of an operating sports organisation company and to the revival of the Hunakamo Sport Association.Since 2010 our team has been the organiser of the TrackWood Drift Festival and has been organising the Drift Allstars, Drift Gp, EEDC (Eastern Europe Drift Championship) and the Drift Masters European Series in Hungary, which usually involves drivers from 16 foreign countries. Since 2012 we have been organising our events with National Sporting Association licences, including the first city drift event also from 2013, the EgerDrift. From 2014 our organisation is the organiser of the MNASZ drift National Championship with a support of the Drift discipline.
